Summer, summer and summer! It’s one of my favourite seasons. I can’t get enough of the chilled drinks, shakes and ice creams in this season. As I promised, I have brought one of another favourite drink of mine in this season to you: Black Berry Shake.

Blackberries are a versatile fruit and is full of various Vitamins such as Vitamin A, Vitamin B1,Vitamin B2,Vitamin B3,Vitamin B6, Vitamin C, Vitamin K and Vitamin E. They are also a great source of Iron, magnesium, calcium, phosphorus, potassium and zinc.

As you can see that how healthy these black berries are. Therefore, I use it quite often. Sometimes I use them in salads, smoothies or shakes. Today I am making a Black Berry shake for you.

Try to use Almond milk for this shake, as I believe it really adds to the flavour of shake. To add a hint of vanilla, I use vanilla essence in it as well. Now back to the recipe:

Ingredients

  • Black berries 250g
  • Vanilla essence 1 Teaspoon
  • Cardamom seeds 1/2 Teaspoon
  • Cinnamon Powder 1/4 Teaspoon
  • Sugar 1 Tablespoon
  • Almond Milk 1 Glass
  • Ice few cubes
  • Banana 1 sliced

Instructions

  1. In a blender add blackberries, milk, sugar, cinnamon, cardamom, vanilla essence and banana.
  2. Blend it all together.
  3. Add ice and blend again.
  4. Serve in a glass with a blackberry on top.Enjoy!
